Delicata squash

WHAT IS IT?
A small heirloom winter squash, also called sweet potato squash or Bohemian squash, with a peel that looks like striped yellow-and-green pajamas. Both delicate and delicious, this one had a thin skin; sweet, creamy pale yellow flesh; and seeds that smacked of sweet corn.
